| Hey guys. I have been working on converting my pearl white convertible one for a while, and finally started her this weekend. This is my second stock NA high compression TT. This one has all the toys - I will be updating my profile and posting build pics in a couple of days - but here are the highlights:
twin GT2860rs with custom brackets Nismo 740 cc injectors MSP manifolds SZ expansion downpipes SZ 3 to 2.5" testpipes Z1 intercoolers I am using Nistune to tune the car and log its performance with two Innovate LC1 widebands and an Innovate TC4 running two EGT probes. Nistune is an absolutely awesome product. I spent about 4 hours today logging and street-tuning the Z with it. After a couple of pulls I had it running at a very nice 11.5 to 12 AFR at about a 9 psi of boost. Over the next couple of days I will be wiring in the Blitz boost controller, and then off to the dyno for fine tuning. Here are a couple of screen prints from the Nistune logs. I would strongly recommend it.
On the first Nistune screenshot you can see that at the beginning of the pull, the AFR is just over 12, and the EGTs are just under 700 Celcius. I can't log boost yet, but you can see the car is loaded - the cells being accessed in the fuel map are highlighted in gray and shown by a white square on the 3d map. I was running about 9 psi across this pull.

This screenshot shows the end of the pull. AFR around 10.7 and EGTs pushing 850 Celcius or so. I am pretty happy with the ability to dial in the AFR with Nistune, and the EGTs are about what I was expecting so ....
Anyways, just wanted to tell someone - the wife is not interested in hearing about this any further. I will post pics from the build in the next few days. Thanks for looking :)
